Exciting news!
A few weeks ago, I asked people to complete a survey and tell me how I can improve Freezer Meal Pro, and one of the most common requests was more vegetarian recipes.
I realized there were a lot of great vegetarian recipes in my print cookbook, Family Freezer Meals, that have never seen the light of day on my blog or members’ site, so I asked my team member Jana to add them to Pro and she made it happen! (Thank you, Jana!)
Here’s what’s new:
- Black Bean Soup
- Vegan Korma
- Tomato Basil Soup (so good!!)
- Easy Refried Beans
- Spinach Enchiladas (yum)
- Lentil Vegetable Soup
- Greens & Beans II
- Lentil Sloppy Joes (love this one)
Also, we’ve added these recipes to a brand-new “mini” cookbook eBook that is now available. As a member of Freezer Meal Pro you can access it in the “eBook Download” section of the website. Yay!

Thank you so much for the new vegetarian crockpot freezer ebook!
I’ve recently been adopting more vegetarian Eating habits so I really appreciate these as I’ve been trying to find some good meatless recipes! Thank you.
I first found your website by looking for easy and “normal” vegan recipe for my college age daughter who was home on Christmas break. I made 8 of them (adapted a few vegetarian ones to vegan by removing cheese) and they were all good! Thank you for making meal prep simple and practical! Now that she is back at college, I am still using the site for meals for my husband and myself. Every single thing we have tried is very good! I joined the site as a member and LOVE that I am able to pick however many meals I want and get a shopping list! I will be downloading this e-cookbook for the summer when she is home again and I need some good vegan recipes! Thanks again for an extremely helpful website.
Yay! I’m so glad. Thanks for letting me know how the recipes are working for you. 🙂
So excited to try these!!!! ❤️❤️😘💕
Yay!
Any time you can combine a whole grain with a bean or lentil and add veggies would be great. So filling. And, if the beans can be cooked from a raw state for affordability. Not sure the two can go together though… Maybe cook the beans then add the grain and veggies. Loved the free video! Made me a believer!
Some legumes (such as split peas and lentils) can be cooked with quinoa or white rice as they have similar cooking times. But you would need to soak beans (such as kidney, pinto, adzuki, garbanzo, etc.) overnight before cooking them with brown rice or barley so that they cook in the same amount of time. Consult a cooking chart for legumes and grains for more pairings.
can I get the family fit recipes for vegan?
