Sausage Spinach Tomato Soup
Serve with garlic bread.
  1. Brown the sausage in a pan.
  2. Add the sausage and the rest of ingredients (except the pasta) to your slow cooker and cook on the “low” setting for 6-8 hours.
  3. Add pasta the last 15 minutes of cooking and turn the heat to “high.”
  4. To Freeze and Cook Later
  5. Add all ingredients to a gallon-sized plastic freezer bag (except chicken broth and pasta). When ready to eat, thaw overnight in refrigerator and dump into your slow cooker with chicken broth. Cook on “low” setting for 6-8 hours or until sausage is cooked through. Add pasta and turn heat to “high.”
Recipe Notes

To Freeze and Cook Later

  1. Label your freezer bag with the name of the recipe, cooking instructions, and “use-by” date.
  2. Add all ingredients except broth and pasta to your freezer bag.
  3. Remove as much air as possible, seal, and freeze.

To Cook

  1. Thaw freezer bag overnight in refrigerator or in water in the morning.
  2. Pour contents of freezer bag into your crockpot and add broth.
  3. Cook on “low” setting for 6-8 hours.
  4. Add pasta and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
